Solcast calculates your forecast based on satellite imagery and your solar arrays' registered details. In practice, factors like localised cloud cover, atmospheric haze, and the angle of diffuse light can mean the real output differs from the model. If you consistently find Glint is overestimating your generation, nudging this figure down brings the forecast closer to what your panels actually produce. A good starting point is 90%, and you can adjust from there based on what you observe over a few days.
